Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto on Wednesday announced that the city government will give cash gifts to public elementary and high school graduating students with honors.
This, after Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto posted a photo of himself holding a signed contract on his Twitter account, thanking the Sangguniang Panlungsod for approving the resolution.

The city government of Pasig will give cash gifts according to the graduating public school student’s academic distinction:
| Elementary | High School | |
| With Honors | PHP 500 | PHP 1,000 |
| With High Honors | PHP 1,000 | PHP 2,000 |
| With Highest Honors | PHP 1,500 | PHP 3,000 |
