Authorities Reveal Another Coronavirus Case Confirmed in California, US
CORONAVIRUS CASE CONFIRMED IN CALIFORNIA – The authorities revealed that another case of the novel coronavirus was recorded in California, United States (U.S.).
One of the major global concerns nowadays is the novel coronavirus. The world is fighting against its spread which has left one country, China, under an outbreak.
The said strain of coronavirus was first recorded in Wuhan City, China. It is believed that the bat soup may be the root of its spread as coronavirus comes from animals. It was yet to be proven and a lot are still unknown about the disease.
The novel coronavirus or officially named as COVID-19 has rapidly spread in China. More than 60,000 people were infected by the disease. The death toll in the mainland China has also exceeded 1,000.
Not only China but as well as other countries got confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus. One of these nations is the United States.
Currently, there are more than 30 confirmed cases of coronavirus in U.S. Recently, the authorities revealed that another coronavirus case was confirmed in California.
The recent addition is the eight coronavirus patient in California. Based on a report on Fox 40, the patient in Sacramento County came from China and arrived in U.S. in February 2.
The Sacramento County Public Health Services stated in a release that precautionary measures were implemented by the patient including self-quarantine. However, mild symptoms of coronavirus appeared during the quarantine period.
Based on the report, the latest coronavirus case confirmed in California is now asymptomatic. Amid showing no signs of the disease anymore, the patient will remain in isolation until it is cleared.
