Veteran journalist Twink Macaraig died Tuesday, January 14, after her long battle with cancer. This was recently confirmed by TV5.
Veteran journalist Twink Macaraig served as a news anchor for TV5 and ABS-CBN. Her writings were also published in different online platforms, including Philippine Star and Esquire Philippines.
She worked as a part-time faculty member and lecturer at the College of Mass Communication of the University of the Philippines Diliman. Also, she served as the Filipino bureau chief of Channel News Asia.
Industry colleagues and personalities wrote on their social media accounts to extend their condolences to Twink’s loved ones.

Veteran journalist Twink Macaraig was survived by architect Paulo Alcazaren, her husband, and their son.
