Joshua Garcia reacted to Julia Barretto’s statement about the closure in a relationship
Actor Joshua Garcia gave his reaction to the statement of his ex-girlfriend actress Julia Barretto saying that “no closure is closure already”.
In an interview, Julia was asked about the closure in a relationship and that what she said. “Sometimes not having any closure is closure already,” the young actress said on Tonight with Boy Abunda.
It can be recalled that Julia was involved in a controversy regarding the breakup of former couple Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo. The latter claimed that her ex-boyfriend started just not talking to her and that there was no closure between them. This came after when rumors linking Gerald and Julia came out.
No closure simply means that a couple is breaking up without talking formally because they are not actually seeing and being with each other most of the time. Regarding this concept in a relationship, Joshua was asked to react to the statement of his ex-girlfriend.
The young actor said, “Importante sa relasyon ‘yung closure… Ang bastos naman nu’n sa karelasyon mo na hindi mo ibigay ‘yung closure eh minahal mo din naman ‘yon.”
Based on the article from Abante, fans of Joshua Garcia commented that it was a good “patama” to Gerald Anderson who was accused of “ghosting” Bea Alonzo. Apparently, Joshua contradicted the views of his ex-girlfriend regarding this matter.
Meanwhile, Joshua and Julia, actively known before as the JoshLia loveteam is now promoting their thriller movie Block Z under Star Cinema. This is considered their first project together since they broke up last year.
After they broke up, they did several separate showbiz projects. Joshua was paired with Janella Salvador in the recently-concluded The Killer Bride.
