Chinese Family in UAE Tests Positive for Novel Coronavirus
CHINESE FAMILY IN UAE – The authorities confirmed that a family from China is positive for the 2019 novel coronavirus.
Currently, more than five (5) thousand people in China are infected by the 2019 novel coronavirus. It was initially recorded in Wuhan City.
The novel coronavirus which may be indicated by fever, cough, and shortness of breath is suspected to have come from bat soup. The said food is served at a market in Wuhan.
As of this writing, at least 160 people died in China due to the 2019 novel coronavirus. The Wuhan City is now under a lock-down to prevent the disease from spreading further.
However, even before the lock-down, several Chinese people have already left Wuhan City. Sadly, there are also several confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in other countries and most patients are from China.
Recently, it was confirmed that a Chinese family in UAE is positive for novel coronavirus. Based on Gulf News, the Ministry of Health and Community Protection counted four (4) cases of the disease in the country.
The said family of four is from Wuhan City which is the epicenter of the disease. With regards to their health condition now, the authorities described it as “stable and under medical observation”.
