Why is it that Facebook’s Off-Facebook Activity tool can “give you more control of your data”?
Facebook officially introduced the ‘Off-Facebook Activity’ tool to its users. This tool was first tested in Spain, Ireland, and South Korea.
According to Facebook, this tool allows users to “view a summary of information that Facebook receives about your activity on other apps and websites” Also, this tool allows users to control their account as well.
Through this tool, users can “clear history” between their profiles and the third-party platforms.
Upon opening this tool, users will see various websites and apps tied to their profiles. These websites and apps have sent data to Facebook after a user has visited or logged into them.
This tool is now available worldwide. The “Off-Facebook Activity” tool can be found in the Settings panel, under the “Your Facebook Information” tab.
