California Records 3rd Coronavirus Case in the United States (US)
3RD CORONAVIRUS CASE – California confirmed the third case of the novel coronavirus in the United States (US).
The novel coronavirus which is first recorded in China continues to alarm the people now. In China, more than two (2) thousand people are now infected and at least 80 individuals lost their lives to it.
Coronavirus was first recorded in Wuhan City. The suspected cause of the disease is a bat soup that is served in the market of the city.
The symptoms of coronavirus includes respiratory conditions like breathing difficulties and cough. An on and off fever may also be a sign for it.
The novel coronavirus which is now rampant in China have reached several other countries now. Those that were affected include Japan, Nepal, and the United States.
Previously, US recorded two (2) cases of coronavirus. One (1) case involves a woman who went to Wuhan in December 2019 and returned to US in January 13. The other case is also someone who just came from Wuhan City.
Recently, US confirmed its 3rd coronavirus case. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the patient is in Orange County in California.
According to the Orange County Health Car Agency, the patient came from Wuhan. The identity of the patient was not revealed but it is stated that the infected person is in a good condition and is isolated in a local hospital.
Based on the report, the health care agency expressed that there is no proof of “person-to-person transmission” and there is a low chance of local transmission in the area. It was the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that confirmed that the patient tested positive.
