Hospital Staff Cheer On Top Pulmonologist in PH Who Recovered from COVID-19
Top pulmonologist in the Philippines, Dr. Fernando Ayuyao, recovered from coronavirus or COVID-19.
Currently, there is a total of 8,212 cases of coronavirus or COVID-19 confirmed in the Philippines. According to the Department of Health (DOH), 558 of these patients died while 1,023 have recovered.
The said disease is a pandemic now. It has claimed more than 200,000 lives across the globe and infected over three (3) million people. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the battle against this disease will take long.
In the Philippines, several doctors and nurses were infected by coronavirus. One of them is Dr. Fernando Ayuyao, a pulmonologist.
Based on a report on Tribune, the doctor is a pulmonologist at the Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Memorial Foundation. He also has a clinic at the Philippine Heart Center.
It was last March 22 when netizens sought for prayers for Dr. Ayuyao who tested positive for COVID-19. Many people were quick to send prayers for the pulmonologist who is one of the top of his field.
Under God’s grace, the top pulmonologist recovered from COVID-19. Based on the report, he was recently discharged from the Philippine Heart Center and a happy send-off was prepared for him.
On her Facebook account, one of the medical staff at PHC, Jamaica Ross Bello David, posted a photo and videos taken at the send-off of the doctor who recovered from COVID-19. The happiness not only on the face of the top pulmonologist but as well as the frontliners are evident:
