Here’s why The Juans drummer is leaving the band
JOSHUA CORONEL – The drummer of the pop-rock band The Juans left due to personal matters.
The Juans is a pop-rock band consisting of lead vocalist and keyboardist Carl Guevarra, vocalist and lead guitarist Japs Mendoza, vocalist and bassist Chael Adriano, vocalist and acoustic guitarist RJ Cruz, and drummer Joshua Coronel.
The Juans is behind the hit songs; “Hindi Tayo Pwede,” “Hatid,” “Itutulog Nalang,” and “Balisong,” the theme song for the film “100 Tula Para Kay Stella.”
But earlier, the band announced the departure of their drummer Joshua Coronel.
According to them, their drummer is leaving the band due to personal matters.

Coronel is the fourth member leaving the band.
In 2018, three members namely Jiad Arroyo, Jason De Mesa, and Daniel Grospe, left the band as their contract with Viva Records expire.
Before they depart, the band, along with Viva Records, created a miniseries called “We Are The Juans”. They had recorded the EP, “Umaga”, before the three members left the band.
Not so long after, The Juans introduced their new members.
Meanwhile, it was just last year when their vocalist Carl Guevarra revealed that he is battling alopecia areata.
It is an autoimmune condition where the immune system attacks hair follicles. Several factors affect it and there is no known cure apart from anti-inflammatory modulators through steroids.

The singer also gave a few words of encouragement to people with alopecia.
