Here’s the official statement of Rockwell Center over the face-off of Robredo and BBM supporters inside a mall
ROCKWELL CENTER – The high-end mixed-use area in Makati issued a statement following the face-off of the supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo and former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. inside the Power Plant Mall.
Robredo and Marcos Jr. are among the top candidates in the presidential elections.
Aside from them, also rooting for the presidency is Senator Manny Pacquiao, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, Senator Pink Lacson, Leody de Guzman and to name few.
Recently, supporters of Robredo and BBM cross each other’s paths inside the Power Plant Mall in Rockwell Center, Makati.
In a viral video, both parties can be seen shouting down each other with their campaign chants.
Then, security guards came trying to pacify the situation.
Meanwhile, Rockwell Center has issued a statement to the Philippine Star following the incident between Robredo and BBM supporters.
Here’s the official statement of Rockwell Center:
“Several individuals earlier today at Power Plant Mall showed support for their presidential candidates. Their intent has only come to our attention the past few days due to social media posts.”
“While the company does not endorse a specific candidate, we encourage everyone to vote with great thought and responsibility.”
“Just as we did earlier, our priority remains to be the comfort, security and safety of our customers, and we will continue to ensure this in our community.”
According to Rockwell Center, the mall operator will continue to prioritize the safety and security of their customers after the incident.
