This, as 9to5Google reported that Google applied two changes on its keyboard app for Android devices, the disappearance of the Google Search button and the “Google” branding on its spacebar.
Disappearance of Google Search Button
In a report from 9to5Google, Google made an “accident” in disappearing the “G” button as this change would affect both stable and beta channels of Gboard. Though you can still search for something using Gboard by clicking the icon near the “Microphone” icon and tap “Search“.
Appearance of “Google” branding at the spacebar
Following the disappearance of the “G” button, Google added its branding on the spacebar, which Gboard users didn’t like it, as such, users started to send its negative feedback to the Gboard app on Google Play Store and requested to remove the said branding.
[UPDATE] Following the unintended update regarding the “Google” branding at the spacebar of Gboard, Google immediately rolling back to its logo-free spacebar.
