Each shopkeeper received an extra P1,000-2,000 pesos out of the products he purchase.

According to Pacquiao, Wednesday is their family’s weekly market day, and instead of letting his house helpers do the shopping, he decided to go to the market to personally see the price of the goods.

The presidential aspirant brought with him their shopping list which include chicken, fish, beef, and vegetables.

But for the senator, going to the market was not new to him since he was used to buying goods at the market when he was young.

It’s been two years since Pacquiao visited the Guadalupe market and according to him, the goods there have become more expensive.

The retired boxer did not expect the spike of the goods.

When asked what is his plan to lower the price of the basic commodities or how to stop the price from rising, he did not answer.

People plunge into the market with some wanting to get a selfie with the politician.

After leaving the market, Pacquiao visited a nearby radio station before heading to Bulacan.

Meanwhile, Pacquiao will run for president in the coming elections alongside his vice-presidential running mate, Lito Atienza.

He will go against presidential candidates such as; Vice President Leni Robredo, former senator Bongbong Marcos, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno as well as senators Bong Go and Ping Lacson.
