Diego Loyzaga: “Cristine is a strong woman”
DIEGO LOYZAGA – The actor is proud of his Encounter co-star Cristine Reyes.
Encounter is the Philippine adaptation of the hit South Korean television series of the same name starring Park Bo-gum and Song Hye-ko.
In an interview, Diego revealed what are the things he will surely miss from the series.
“Mami-miss ko ang bonding with the cast and new experiences sa set. It was definitely a learning experience with time management and refresher course on my Tagalog,” he said.
According to him, among those he will miss when the series ends on Saturday, October 30 is no less than Ivan Padilla.
Diego shared that Ivan became his closest friend in the series.
“He taught me so much about life, investments, finances, and buying a house. He became a real friend of mine outside the set,” he said.
When asked about what he discovered from Cristine Reyes, he said: “How young at heart she is.”
“At the same time, her maturity and professionalism is something I really look up to,” he added.
Last week, Cristine Reyes became open about her traumatic childhood years.
When Diego Loyzaga was asked for his reaction to the revelations of Cristine, he said: “Cristine is a strong woman and, definitely, an icon to the younger generation.”
“All I can tell her is I’m proud, and as someone who looks up to her, thank you,” he added.
Meanwhile, Diego plans to focus on making movies before accepting TV assignments again.
Diego is one of the busiest actors because of his series of films: Death of A Girlfriend, Bekis on the Run, House Tour, More Than Blue, and his upcoming movie with Nadine Lustre called Greed.
