Remember Jeyrick Sigmaton aka Carrot Man?
CARROT MAN – The internet sensation-turned-celebrity whose real name is Jeyrick Sigmaton is now an internationally acclaimed actor.
Jeyrick rose to fame when he was captured in 2016 hauling carrots in Benguet.
Eventually, he was featured on the GMA-7 lifestyle magazine show, Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho (KMJS) which served as a ticket for his showbiz career, locally and abroad.
Then, he appeared on different shows of Kapuso Network such as Bubble Gang, Unang Hirit, Sunday Pinasaya, and of course, Wowowin wherein he shared that he’s a member of a boy band called, FAB4Z.
He also ventured into modeling as a product endorser of one of the most popular apparel brands in the country.
In 2018, he held his first concert as a singer/performer. In the same year, he went to Singapore for a meet and greet.
Aside from Singapore, he was able to visit Thailand, Korea, and the UK.
After months of attending acting workshops, he has achieved his dream of becoming an actor, and recently, he won the Best Actor award for short film at the International Film Festival Manhattan Autumn in New York.
Jeyrick Sigmaton starred in the short film Dayas, which centers on the lives of small-scale Igorot miners in the mountains of Itogon, Benguet.
Aside from the internet sensation-turned-celebrity, also taking home an acting award in the prestigious film festival is no less than actress Janice De Belen who bagged the Best Actress Short Film award.
