Jake Ejercito admitted that his childhood dream was to follow the footsteps of his parents in the world of showbiz.
He has somehow fulfilled it because he has done some acting projects in recent years.
But he felt more that he really “belong na belong” in the entertainment industry after signing an exclusive contract with Star Magic in conjunction with the lined-up projects that he will do on ABS-CBN.
He said that this is the fulfillment of his long-held dream and he is ready to do everything to make his parents proud of him, especially his father, former President Joseph Estrada.
Recently, Jake Ejercito appeared before members of the entertainment media along with other showbiz royalties who also signed a contract during the Star Magic Black Pen Day held this past weekend.
“I haven’t felt elated in a long while. I actually met Direk Lauren (Dyogi, ang head ng Star Magic) three days before the pandemic started. I had to wait until now just for this moment,” he said.
It was really his childhood dream to be an actor but he was not immediately given the opportunity to fulfill it because he preferred to finish his education.
Jake Ejercito will star in the upcoming series titled “Marry Me, Marry You,” where he will be the love triangle of Janine Gutierrez and Paulo Avelino.
