Halloween and Christmas parties in the Philippines were allowed within families, according to DOH.
DOH — The Department of Health said that Halloween and Christmas parties were allowed within the “bubble” of their families.
Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said at the Laging Handa briefing that mass gatherings were still prohibited.
However, Vergeire said that those taking place within the “bubble” of the family were allowed provided that safety protocols needed to be implemented.
Vergeire added that the public should avoid being in “3Cs” places — closed, crowded, close-contact.

She also said that the public should recognize that mass gatherings will be the main cause of coronavirus infection in families, adding that health protocols must be observed in outdoor gatherings as well.
The National Capital Region (NCR) was first placed under Alert Level 4 from September 16 to October 15, then to a more relaxed Alert Level 3 from October 16 to 31.
Aside from allowing Halloween and Christmas parties within the “bubble” of their families, the Department of Health reminded political aspirants to enforce safety protocols in their campaign events.
The Department of Health also recommended that the casting of ballot for every voter in the 2022 elections should be accomplished the “quickest time possible” in order to avoid coronavirus infection at the polling precinct.
