Baby decapitated during delivery?
A baby in Bangued, Abra died during delivery in a local hospital after his head was decapitated or accidentally cut off.
It is the very dream of most women to have a child. It might be painful but it could be a rewarding moment in a woman’s life, seeing her baby after giving birth.
But that dream of a couple from Abra turned out to be misery after their baby did not survive the delivery.
The parents of a baby were deeply saddened when they learned that their child’s head was decapitated or accidentally cut off while he was being born at a hospital in Bangued, Abra.
The baby’s mother revealed that she was told at the hospital that her baby was dead when it was delivered.
But they were not told that his head was cut off and they only found out when he returned home.

For now, the family plans to sue Abra Provincial Hospital for what happened.
The hospital said that it is ready to face the case and they are also conducting an investigation to find out what happened.
According to a hospital official, the baby was said to have died while still in the womb and had to be removed to save the mother’s life.
This is not the first time that such an incident happened.
In 2011, a baby in Ilocos Norte died due to decapitation. The doctor faced charges at the time.
