Leira Mae Pino, 24, and Jeznel Lorenz Tano, 25, sought the help of local authorities after their wedding coordinator identified as certain Jayson “Jhaycie” Villasan Saramosing allegedly scammed them.

The couple had already paid at least P200,000 to the planner but the latter can no longer be reached by phone or through his social media accounts since Tuesday, September 28.

The payment which they gave to Saramosing covered the reception, church preparations and the purchase of supplies and services that are needed for their nuptials.

They are set to tie the knot this coming October 23 at the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral.

According to Pino via an interview with CDN, their wedding coordinator last contacted her through his social media account, Monday, September 27 at around 4 pm, reminding her of a food tasting at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday and a church visit later that day.

Apparently, when she tried to contact Saramosing, the planner could no longer be reached.

As of posting, Saramosing is yet to issue any statement with regards to the allegations against him.

This is the second incident in September wherein a couple from Cebu was scammed by their wedding coordinator.

Recently, a newly-wed couple from Cebu went viral following a video of the bride breaking down in tears after being scammed by their coordinator.

Cherry Pie and Ariel Purisima paid a down payment of P5,000 to their wedding coordinator, Naser Fuentes last June. In September, they gave him P15,000 and P30,000, and a whopping P65,000 as the last installment.

However, there was no reception on their wedding day and their wedding coordinator, unfortunately, ran away with their money.
