A Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) personnel was honored after returning a large amount of money and a cellphone he found while on duty at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) yesterday, June 2.

PCG Seaman Second Class Ramir Greg Locsin returned the wallet found containing P185,000 and the cellphone of Joliza Wanason, an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) from Saudi Arabia.

“Locsin’s dedication to his tasks, professionalism, devotion, and integrity to public service significantly contributed to the pride of this unit and the whole Philippine Coast Guard organization,” said Commander Jimmy Oliver Vingno, PCG Task Force Unit Airport One-Stop Shop commander on NAIA Terminal 1.

Meanwhile, Wanason expressed her gratitude to the PCG staff for displaying impressive professionalism, especially during this time of the pandemic.
