Curfew violator dies after being punished
300 PUMPINGS – A man in General Trias, Cavite passed away after allegedly experiencing extreme fatigue from the punishment imposed on him by the authorities for violating the curfew.
In a Facebook post by Adrian Luceña, the victim identified as Darren Manaog was supposed to buy water but was caught by the authorities amid the curfew hours.
According to Luceña, the police caught Manaog on Thursday night, April 1, because he still bought water even though it was curfew hour.
Darren shared to him that those caught violating the curfew were told to do “pumping” 100 times, but because they were not doing it at the same time, the authorities told them to repeat.
Sabi niya nasa 300 daw nagawa nila. Ito po ay nangyare sa MUNISIPYO NG MALABON, GENERAL TRIAS, CAVITE,” Adrian said.
Darren reportedly returned home early in the morning, and a few hours later he had a convulsion, fainted, and eventually died.
Hanggang ngayong 10:00 pm wala na,” he said.
