Here are the guidelines of IATF for religious gatherings in NCR Plus on April 1-4
IATF – The Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases has released guidelines on religious gatherings in “NCR Plus” this coming April 1 to 4.
According to the IATF, religious gatherings will be allowed from April 1 to 4 but with only 10% venue capacity.
“Mabuting balita po para sa gustong magsimba ngayong Semana Santa. Pinayagan po ng IATF ang once a day religious gathering mula a-uno hanggang a-cuatro ng Abril,” Presidential spokesman Harry Roque said.
Earlier, the inter-agency task force banned gatherings of more than 10 people in the “NCR Plus” bubble area which is composed of Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal.
But in the new announcement made by the IATF, at least 10% of the venue’s capacity was allowed for religious denominations.
Roque also noted in his televised public briefing that religious denominations are urged to roll out a reservation system for those who would like to attend their gatherings.
Religious gatherings outside a church or venue were also prohibited by the IATF.
“Hindi lang po ito para sa Simbahang Katolika, lahat po ng pananampalataya kasama na rin po ang ating kapatid na Muslim, mga Shinto, pupuwede pong once a day, 10 percent capacity, April 1 to April 4,” he said.
