Smart Communications expanded its 5G coverage in Luzon and Metro Manila
Smart Communications recently announced that the company was further expanding the rollout of its 5G network across several provinces in Luzon and all cities in Metro Manila.
Smart Communications shared that its 5G network was currently available in all 17 cities and municipalities of Metro Manila as well as the cities of Mabalacat and Angeles in Pampanga, Santa Rosa and Binan in Laguna, and Bacoor in Cavite.
Aside from those areas, Smart 5G was currently available in Boracay, Iloilo, Cebu, and Davao.

Smart also shared that the company was continuing its 5G rollout nationwide apart from those areas.
PLDT Chief Revenue Officer and Smart Communications President and CEO Alfredo S. Panlilio said that they’re bringing their customers closer to an even higher level of customer experience in terms of playing eSports, enjoying high-definition videos, and using new digital services as they ramped up their Smart 5G rollout across Metro Manila and the rest of the Philippines.
Jane J. Basas, the SVP and Head of Consumer Wireless Business at Smart, said that they’re making it simpler for their customers in order to maximize the Philippines’ fastest network — made even faster with the 5G network.
To recall, PLDT officially launched its 5G service commercially in July and was the first to roll-out the 5G network nationwide.
