OPPO Reno 5 series now official in China
OPPO had recently launched Reno 5 series — the Reno 5 5G and Reno 5 Pro 5G — in China. Check out its specs, price, and availability below.

Similarities In Technical Specifications
In terms of color variants, both have Aurora Blue, Moon Night Black variants. For display features, both have an FHD+ OLED display with 90 Hz refresh rate.
When it comes to key features, both have up to 12GB LPDDR4X memory and up to 256GB UFS 2.1 storage. For camera features, both have a quad-rear camera setup which include 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP portrait lens. Both also has a 32MP front camera.
Moreover, other specs were also available on both smartphones – including ColorOS 11.1 mobile operating system that was based on Android 11 operating system, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack, reverse wired charging, in-display fingerprint scanner, and a lot more.
Differences in Technical Specifications
In terms of color variants, the Reno 5 5G has a Starry Night color variant, while the Reno 5 Pro 5G has Starry Dream and Star Wish Red color variants.
For display features, the Reno 5 5G has a 6.43-inch display, while the Reno 5 Pro 5G has a 6.5-inch display.
When it comes to key features, the Reno 5 5G has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor and Qualcomm Adreno 620 graphics processor, while the Reno 5 Pro 5G has an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ 2.64GHz processor and ARM G77 MC9 graphics processor.

Aside from these, OPPO teased the third smartphone from the Reno 5 series, which was scheduled to launch a day before Christmas.

In a report on Yugatech, the price of Reno 5 series smartphones may vary depending on its variant. Here are the following:

- OPPO Reno 5 (12GB + 256GB variant) – CNY 2,999
- OPPO Reno 5 Pro (12GB + 256GB variant) – CNY 3,399

Following the official launch in China, OPPO will launch these smartphones globally and in the Philippines soon.
