It’s Showtime Director Bobet Vidanes Resigned; Transfers to TV5 Show
SHOWTIME DIRECTOR BOBET VIDANES – The director of It’s Showtime resigned after 11 years of working for the ABS-CBM noontime variety show.
One of the most popular TV shows in the Philippines is It’s Showtime, the noontime variety show of the Kapamilya network. Vice Ganda is one of its mainstay hosts.
Anne Curtis is also one of the show’s mainstay hosts. Currently, she is in Australia and gave birth to her baby daughter six months ago.

The said TV program first aired in October 2009. It is directed by Bobet Vidanes. A lot of people are avid viewers of the show that they continue to watch it online and in A2Z now.
Currently, ABS-CBN has yet to obtain a franchise to operate in free TV. It was in July 10 when the House Franchise Committee junked the bid of the network for a fresh 25-year franchise.
Recently, an unexpected update about It’s Showtime crossed the surface. Showtime director Bobet Vidanes resigned from the noontime variety show after 11 years.
Based on a report on Pep, the reason of his resignation is personal but the Showtime hosts know that he will transfer to Lunch Out Loud, a show aired in TV5.
Outgoing Showtime director Bobet Vidanes will be a consultant in Lunch Out Loud. Based on the report, it is possible that eventually he will be the director of the show.
Lunch Out Loud is top-billed by former Showtime host Billy Crawford, Bayani Agbayani, and Alex Gonzaga. It is under Brightlight Productions.
