Here’s what Apple had unveiled during its “One More Thing” event.
Apple had officially unveiled its new products and updates during its “One More Thing” virtual launch event at the Apple Park.
It was last Tuesday morning (2:00 a.m. of November 11) when Apple had recently gave an update as they officially unveiled new products.
This was the company’s fourth virtual launch event since WWDC 2020 last June, “Time Flies” event last September, and “Hi, Speed” event last October.
Here’s what Apple had unveiled during the said event:
Apple M1 Chip
The Apple Silicone — now known as “Apple M1” chip — became the first-ever System-on-a-Chip (SoC) for Mac computers.
The said chip was an 8-core, 5nm processor that has a unified memory architecture and it would also be able to run iPhone and iPad apps on Mac computers for the first time.
macOS Big Sur
Following the introduction of Apple’s new operating system for Mac computers, the company had officially announced the features of macOS Big Sur.
Also, the company revealed that the said operating system will be available on November 12 (US time).
MacBook Air, Mac mini, and MacBook Pro
The company had officially launched new Mac computers — the MacBook Air, Mac mini, and MacBook Pro — that has an M1 chip and macOS Big Sur in it.
Also, Apple revealed that the company had began accepting pre-orders for these Mac computers and will be available on November 17 in the United States.
