‘Hindi Na Kayo Bata!’ Biazon Orders Public Apology From Duo Who Slapped Sleeping Man for Content
FOOTBRIDGE SLAP VIDEO – Muntinlupa City Mayor Ruffy Biazon personally confronted two young men behind a viral video showing them slapping a sleeping man on a footbridge in Alabang, apparently for online content.
The two, aged 18 and 19, claimed the man had thrown stones at them while they were shooting a rap music video. Biazon did not accept the excuse, stressing that hitting a defenseless person who was asleep can never be justified.

“Hindi na kayo bata!” the mayor told them, reminding the pair that as adults they now face legal accountability for what they did.
“Hindi pwedeng puro siga-sigaan sa video, tapos kapag hinarap na sa totoong buhay ang consequences ng mga kalokohan, saka kayo mag-iisip at manghihingi ng tawad,” Biazon said, roughly meaning you cannot act tough on video and only reflect and say sorry once you face real-world consequences.
He ordered the two to post a public apology on social media, the same platform where they showed their disrespect. He also said he will not tolerate lawlessness, intimidation or anyone acting above the law in the city.
Police and barangay officials were told to closely monitor the pair. Biazon warned that any further violation will be met with full legal action, and that they will go straight to jail if there are proper legal grounds.
The clip drew anger from netizens, many of whom called out the growing number of pranks and stunts that target vulnerable people for views. Others praised the mayor for facing the pair himself instead of just issuing a statement.
The incident comes as authorities step up warnings against harmful content. This week, the National Council on Disability Affairs also reminded content creators that exploiting persons with disabilities for pranks or profit violates the Magna Carta for Disabled Persons.
