Kakai Bautista Slams Sarah Discaya’s Tearful Statement
KAKAI BAUTISTA – Social media was set ablaze when Kakai Bautista unleashed a fiery response to Sarah Discaya’s plea, drawing mixed reactions from netizens.
Actress and singer Kakai Bautista did not mince her words as she strongly criticized contractor Sarah Discaya following the latter’s emotional statement about her fear of being separated from her family should she be imprisoned.
In a recent interview, Discaya broke down as she spoke about her situation, saying she did not want to go to jail because of her children, all of whom have Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). She also mentioned her family’s circumstances, expressing uncertainty about what would happen to her children if she were detained.

“Ayoko, ayoko sana [makulong].. Kasi as everyone knows, my kids they all have ADHD, husband ko nasa Senate tapos ako makukulong.
Kakai, however, reacted strongly through a social media post, where she expressed her anger over Discaya’s alleged involvement in anomalous flood control projects in various parts of the country. According to Kakai, the situation goes beyond personal hardship and involves the suffering of many Filipinos affected by flooding and failed infrastructure projects.
“IN*KA! Sampu ng kanu-nunuan mo. Kung MAHAL nyo ang mga ANAK nyo, HINDI KAYO MAGIGING SAKIM. You will be served with what you DESERVE.
She further emphasized that they are ready to witness the consequences of Discaya’s actions, insisting that accountability will eventually come.
We are excited to WATCH you SUFFER the consequences,” aniya pa.

The controversy also drew a reaction from Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon, who questioned Discaya’s focus on her family while allegedly overlooking the victims of the projects in question. He stressed that compassion should also extend to the communities affected by flooding and unfinished or nonexistent infrastructure.
As the issue continues to spark public outrage, the statements from Bautista and Dizon reflect the growing demand for accountability amid allegations tied to public funds and failed flood control initiatives.
