“For everyone to understand, it is normal practice of the government to include all possible stopovers or transit countries in the travel authority. If the route or flight changes, there will be no issue of paper,” he stated.

Davao Cong. Paolo Duterte further wrote that he used to do it every time he visits his father, former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte. He stressed that it is a “standard procedure” but critics allegedly choose drama over facts.

You know, Dabawenyo, how I work — quietly, clearly, and without much talk. I’m not into theatrics. While others are looking for relevance, I am working,” the Davao Congressman stated.

Davao Cong. Paolo Duterte stressed that his trip is not a world tour but for working and his obligation in his family and his continue service to the people of Davao. Based on the post, he assured his constituents that he will not be distracted by “their political noise”.
