Remarks of Malacañang on Criticisms of Anjo Yllana vs. Pres. Bongbong Marcos
Malacañang hit back at actor-turned-politician Anjo Yllana over his tirades against President Bongbong Marcos.
Recently, actor and former Parañaque Vice Mayor Anjo Yllana caused abuzz because of his livestreams wherein he threw accusations and criticisms against government officials. He previously challenged Senate President Tito Sotto to prove that he is really donating his salaries for the scholars.

The Office of Senate Pres. Tito Sotto previously claimed that he gave his P471k salaries for July and August to the poor students. During the campaign period for the 2025 Midterm Elections, Sotto vowed to give his salaries to the scholars.

According to Anjo Yllana, he will expose the alleged “mistress” of Senate Pres. Tito Sotto if he will not be able to do the challenge to prove his donation for the scholars. They were former co-hosts in the decades-long GMA-7 noontime variety show Eat Bulaga.
Yllana also claimed that the alleged other woman of the Senator is someone with whom he supposedly has an illicit affair with since 2013. Sotto is known to be married to veteran actress Helen Gamboa. They have four (4) children — Romina Frances, Lala, Gian Carlo, and Ciara.
Aside from Senate Pres. Tito Sotto, Anjo Yllana also criticized Pres. Bongbong Marcos. He claimed that the President allegedly usually has a doubtful facial expression and he challenged him to undergo a hair follicle drug test.

“Panay ang ngiwi po ng bibig niyo, Mr. President. Kumbinsido ang taumbayan na kayo ay gumagamit. Baka naman Mr. President na kayo ay magpa-follicle drug test,” the actor said.
Pres. Bongbong Marcos remained silent amid the many calls for him to undergo a drug test — and it is the same with the call of Anjo Yllana. It was Malacañang that reacted to the call of the former vice mayor of Parañaque.

Malacañang press officer Atty. Claire Castro asked who is Anjo Yllana to demand on Pres. Bongbong Marcos to undergo a hair follicle test. Based on a post of DZRH News on social media, the Palace official stressed that the President will not mind him.
“Who are you? Sino ka to demand for that? Hindi ka papansinin ng pangulo, kasi sino ka ba?” the Malacañang press official said based on the post.
Previously, amid his rift with the Dutertes, Pres. Bongbong Marcos claimed that he will continue the war against drugs but in a “peaceful way”.
