Chie Filomeno Finds Strength in Self-Worth After Walking Away from Love
CHIE FILOMENO – Actress and social media star Chie Filomeno is stepping into a new chapter of her life—one defined by healing, growth, and self-worth—after revealing the lessons she learned from love and betrayal.
Chie Filomeno has recently opened up about entering her “healing era,” sharing heartfelt reflections on love, loss, and self-worth. In a candid Instagram post, Chie revealed that she is finally moving forward after ending a past relationship and dealing with a painful betrayal from someone she once considered a friend.
Alongside a carousel of chic photos, the actress shared a striking caption that immediately caught the attention of her followers. She began by referencing a current online trend, saying, “It’s a trend to use songs, since that’s what you have been doing. So might as well. It’s your sad boi era I’m in my healing era.” The short statement hinted at the emotional contrast between her state of growth and her former partner’s apparent melancholy.

Chie Filomeno then opened up about the difficult decision to walk away from a relationship where she felt unappreciated. “I didn’t want to teach him how to love me — that’s unfair, so unfair for both of us. We deserve so much better, we all do. I wish him all the best, I truly do,” she wrote, revealing both her maturity and compassion despite the heartbreak.
However, the actress admitted that the most painful part of the experience came from someone she trusted deeply. She described the individual as a “so-called friend” who allegedly knew how she was treated yet still “chose betrayal — even using the internet to attack my character.”
Chie added that the same person claimed she “does not want to get involved” but still “did everything to insert herself in the picture that she shouldn’t be a part of.” When Chie confronted her, she received “no reply, no accountability.”

Despite the emotional turmoil, Chie’s message ended on an empowering and hopeful note. “I mean, life is still good! Standing up for myself because I know my worth, I’m finally being treated the way we all deserved to be and I am surrounded by people who truly know me and got my back,” she affirmed.
She closed her post with gratitude and positivity, writing, “Grateful for all of you, on to the next chapter. I hope you find peace.”
