MARCOS JR. – The Palace reacted to the impeachment complaint that Cavite Representative Kiko Barzaga will supposedly file against the President.

Cavite Rep. Kiko Barzaga is undeniably one of the vocal congressmen amid the flood control mess in the Philippines. Visibly, he is against Pres. Bongbong Marcos and the current administration. Barzaga even previously claimed that his mother allegedly warned him not to fight former House Speaker Martin Romualdez. However, recently, the document he showed is supposedly against Pres. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Palace press officer undersecretary Claire Castro claimed that Pres. Bongbong Marcos is too busy. According to her, the President is not paying attention on such kind of talk.

“Sa panahon ngayon na marami pong ginagawa po ang Pangulo, hindi po pinapansin ang mga ganyang klaseng usapin,” Castro said.

The Palace official further expressed that Pres. Bongbong Marcos is busy helping the Filipino people and paving the way for more jobs to uplift the country. Based on the report, she emphasized that Marcos Jr. is busy not on the things that would pull the dignity of the country down.

“Busy ang Pangulo, sa pagtulong sa mga kababayan natin, maraming trabaho para maiangat pa ang Pilipinas, hindi para ibaba ang dignidad ng ating bansa,” the Malacañang press officer said.

According to Atty. Claire Castro, it is allegedly hard to comment on the accusations of Cavite Rep. Kiko Barzaga against Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Jr. since the 27-year-old Congressman did not cite evidence to back his allegations against the Chief Executive. She stressed that it is easy to point fingers and say anything without an evidence.

Amid the flood control mess in the Philippines, Cavite Rep. Kiko Barzaga previously warned that Zaldy Co might allegedly be the “fall guy”.
