Rudy Baldwin Questions Ombudsman’s Plan on VP Sara’s Confidential Funds

Rudy Baldwin to Ombudsman: Check DPWH First, Not VP Sara

RUDY BALDWIN — The psychic and dream reader spoke out about the ongoing issue involving Vice President Sara Duterte’s confidential funds after newly appointed Ombudsman Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla announced his plan to review and investigate the matter.

During a press briefing on October 7, Remulla explained that the reports regarding the confidential funds are already with the Office of the Ombudsman and will be carefully examined. He said they would study the documents and talk to the people responsible for handling the case before he assumed office to ensure that everything is managed properly and fairly.

However, Rudy Baldwin questioned Remulla’s decision to focus first on the Vice President’s confidential funds. In a Facebook post, she stated that it would be better if the government investigated the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and its over ₱1 trillion flood-control projects, which she claimed were marred by corruption. Baldwin expressed her disappointment, saying that the government seems eager to look into the confidential funds but remains silent about the larger corruption issues in the DPWH. She implied that the real problem lies there, not in the Vice President’s office.

Baldwin wrote, “BULAKLATIN DAW ANG CONFIDENTIAL FUNDS PERO ANG FLOOD CONTROL NA KURAKOT NA ALMOST TRILLION WALA NA?! SO ALAM NYO NA SINO UGAT NA SALOT?”

Her post quickly spread online, gaining support from many netizens who agreed with her. Some commentators suggested that powerful individuals might be attempting to divert attention from larger corruption scandals, while others argued that top officials are shielding their allies. A few also expressed concern that those who speak out might be silenced.

Many commenters called for unity and awareness, reminding Filipinos not to be deceived by political tactics. Some voiced disappointment in the current leadership, while others prayed for the nation and encouraged everyone to stand for truth and justice, regardless of political sides.
