Heart Evangelista Pursues Legal Action Over Online Attacks
HEART EVANGELISTA – Actress and fashion icon Heart Evangelista has announced that she is ready to take legal action against bashers and groups allegedly spreading false information about her.
Kapuso actress and fashion icon Heart Evangelista has revealed that she is now working with her lawyer to file cyber libel charges against online bashers and certain organizations that she claims are deliberately tarnishing her reputation.
In an Instagram live session, Evangelista directly addressed the issue, saying it was time to fight back against people who continue to destroy her name. According to her, the attacks are no longer limited to personal criticisms but have also begun to affect her career, particularly her endorsement deals.

Heart Evangelista admitted that she has endured years of bashing, but the recent wave of accusations has gone too far. Some detractors have been linking her earnings to her husband, Senator Chiz Escudero, casting doubt on her financial independence. Heart firmly denied these claims, stressing that she has worked in the industry for years and that her income comes from her own hard work and brand partnerships.
Aside from legal measures, Evangelista also opened up about her initial plan to participate in the Trillion Peso March. However, she decided to withdraw after receiving threats. She revealed that someone warned her that she would be stripped if she appeared at the rally, which pushed her to prioritize her safety.
Due to these recent developments, Evangelista has also confirmed that she will not be attending Paris and Milan Fashion Week. She clarified that her international appearances are funded through her personal earnings from brand deals, not from her husband’s resources.
Despite the negativity, her supporters have rallied behind her, expressing readiness to defend her from malicious attacks. Many also commended her decision to pursue legal action, noting that it sets an example for public figures who often face similar online harassment.
Heart Evangelista’s move marks a significant step in the fight against cyberbullying and defamation, highlighting the need to hold accountable those who use social media platforms to spread falsehoods and personal attacks.
