Kapuso actress Maureen Larrazabal tested negative for the dreaded coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19.
On Saturday, the Pepito Manaloto star was glad to share with her Instagram followers that she’s now free from the virus.
It was on September 6 when she tested positive for COVID-19 but prior to that, the news broke about her coronavirus scare.
“After being tested positive…I’m finally covid free🥰 split na kami ni covid🤣 #blessedbeyondmeasure🙏 #2monthsbattle #Grateful❤ #GODISGREAT,” she wrote as the accompanying caption on her post.
Based on the article of gmanetwork.com, she recalled in her Give Me Five video how her fellow Pepito Manaloto stars showed support on her battle against the virus.
This is not the first time that a cast of the hit comedy show contracted COVID-19. Last July, Michael V, or popularly known as Bitoy was infected but now recovered from coronavirus.
“Very grateful kasi ang pagkatao ko, sa totoo lang, and this time mas naramdaman ko ‘yung pasasalamat ko sa show, pasasalamat ko sa lahat,” she said.
“Cause kahit mayroon akong sakit, hindi nila ako binitawan!,” she added.
Maureen Larrazabal started her showbiz career via TV commercial appearances for Condura Refrigerators, Skin Reborn and Gilbeys Gin.
Before she ventured into movie and television, she was with the Big Deal band for 10 years that often performs abroad.
TODA One I Love, The Better Woman and One of the Baes were among her latest projects under Kapuso Network.
She has been with Pepito Manaloto since 2014 after it premiered 10 years ago.
