Malacañang Relays Message of Pres. Bongbong Marcos for Filipino Youth
BONGBONG MARCOS – The President urges the Filipino youth to stand for what is true and to use critical thinking in dealing with online information.
Amid the possible anomalies surrounding some of the flood control projects in the Philippines, Pres. Marcos admitted that the target to solve the problems of the country will be easier to achieve if there are millions of eyes that are checking on the matter. Thus, he called on the Filipinos to help in checking the government flood control deals in their areas and make reports if there is something wrong.

Pres. Bongbong Marcos launched the Sumbong sa Pangulo website where the Filipinos can send reports if they see something wrong about the flood control projects in their areas. The Chief Executive vowed that he will personally read the reports sent by the Filipinos.

“We need everyone involved because 80 million, 90 million pairs of eyes are better than all the eyes in the entirety of government… It is exceedingly important that people get involved,” Marcos Jr. said.
Aside from asking the help of the youth with regards to the flood control project issues in the different areas in the country, Pres. Bongbong Marcos also recently sent his request to the young Filipinos to stand for the truth and to be critical thinkers in dealing with information that are accessible online.

During a forum at the Centro Escolar University (CEU) in Manila, Malacañang press officer undersecretary Claire Castro said Pres. Bongbong Marcos vowed not to give up an inch of the Philippines. However, based on a report on PhilStar, the Chief Executive needs the help of the people.
“The President said he won’t surrender even an inch of the Philippines. But he needs our help. He needs the people,” the Malacañang press official said.
Castro called on the young Filipinos at the “Usap Tayo, Bayan Muna” forum to be discerning over the information that they access online. Based on the report, she also called on the youth to revive nationalism in their hearts and “stand for the truth”.

According to the press officer of Malacañang, the young Filipinos should bring with them their nationalism until old age comes. Based on the report, Castro stressed that the youth only has one country.
“We need to be Filipinos at all times. You have a duty as young people. We owe our heroes (the freedom) we are enjoying now,” Castro said.

Previously, amid the countless issues and problems in the Philippines, Pres. Bongbong Marcos vowed for more changes in the services provided by the government to uplift the lives of the Filipino people. According to him, he wants his term to be remembered to have made changes for the better.
