Female Store Owner Expresses Dismay After Customer Returns Longganisa for Not Being Sweet Enough
A female store owner shared her frustration online after a customer returned cooked longganisa, saying it wasn’t sweet enough.
Recently, Rechilda Berdin Reyes, a Facebook user, shared a photo of the returned sausage saying it was not sweet enough. The post quickly circulated online and elicited comments from netizens.
According to Rechilda, the customer bought ten pieces of longganisa from her store. However, only six pieces were returned because the rest had already been eaten or given to their dog. The buyer claimed they were looking for a sweeter type of longganisa, which led to the return.
However, Reyes was confused and disappointed, as the product was not spoiled or expired. In fact, she even tasted the returned pieces and found that they were perfectly fine.
The female store owner explained that she has been selling longganisa for years and had just bought a fresh batch, so it was impossible for the sausage to be bad. For her, it would have made sense if the return was due to spoilage, but returning food simply because the taste wasn’t what the customer expected felt unfair.
Unfortunately, only a portion of the longganisa was returned, with four pieces already missing. She felt it was wrong for someone to return food that had already been partly consumed, especially for reasons unrelated to quality or safety.
