Ivana Alawi Reveals Plans to Sell Their Family Home in Bahrain

Ivana Alawi Opens Up About Bahrain House Sale

IVANA ALAWI – Actress and content creator Ivana Alawi recently shared that her family is open to selling their long-vacant house in Bahrain.

Ivana Alawi recently revealed that her family is considering selling their family home in Bahrain, a place filled with memories but currently left unoccupied. The idea came up during a lighthearted yet revealing lie detector challenge video posted on Ivana’s YouTube channel, featuring her mother Fatima and brother Hash.

The challenge, a creative blend of Vanity Fair’s Lie Detector Series and the show Hot Ones, required participants to eat a chicken wing dipped in hot sauce whenever they were caught lying.

Fatima was the first to take the test, and when asked whether she wanted to sell their Bahrain home, the polygraph confirmed she was telling the truth. Fatima candidly explained that the house, despite undergoing renovations five years ago, has remained empty. “Pero totoo ‘yung bahay namin na ‘yun… walang ghosts,” Fatima joked, lightening the mood.

Ivana later confirmed the authenticity of the house, responding to past speculations about whether the property was real or rented. “Alam mo, hindi ganoon kagaling gumawa ng istorya na kung saan ako lumaki ‘di ba? Kinuwento ko talaga kung saan kami lumaki,” she said, noting that there are no photos in the house now as the family fully resides in the Philippines.

The actress further shared that keeping the Bahrain home has become impractical. Since its renovation in 2020, no one has lived there, and maintaining it from afar is challenging. Ivana stated that she doesn’t foresee herself living in Bahrain, expressing her preference to stay either in the Philippines or the United States.

Hash added more context, revealing that the house has actually been uninhabited for nearly two decades, and the family moved their belongings back to the Philippines 15 years ago.

Despite the sentimental value, Ivana clarified that the house is technically her late Moroccan father’s property, whose name still appears outside the residence. The family’s openness to selling the house marks the closing of a chapter while embracing the life they have built in the Philippines.
