Lady Netizen Shares Mom’s Unpleasant Experience at Private Hospital in Bacolod City
A lady netizen criticized a private hospital in Bacolod City due to her mother’s unpleasant experience.
Recently, Sheeley Villanueva, a Facebook user, shared her mother’s bad experience at a private hospital (Riverside Medical Center, Inc). The post quickly went viral on social media and received various reactions from netizens.
Villanueva, a nurse and a concerned daughter, opened up about what happened to her mother after being admitted to Riverside Medical Center due to an allergic reaction from her third anti-rabies shot.

Because of her age and medical history, they decided to keep her in the hospital for further observation.
However, instead of feeling reassured, her mother became even more anxious after a doctor discussed her ECG results in a way that made her panic. Rather than calming her down, the doctor spoke about worst-case scenarios like cardiac arrest, which only increased her fear.

For Sheeley, her mom needed was kindness and patient-focused care instead of not more stress.

Later on, they were able to consult with a trusted cardiologist, who properly assessed her mom and ordered a 24-hour Holter monitor. The family expected her to be discharged soon.
A few hours into wearing the monitor, her mom began to feel discomfort and irritation where the electrodes were placed. She told the hospital staff, but they reportedly dismissed her concern and didn’t check her skin.

After 24 hours, the monitor was removed, revealing painful skin damage that could have been prevented. To make things worse, she was made to wait hours for proper wound care, only to be told that she would have to pay for treatment caused by the hospital’s own neglect.
