Malacañang Relays Pres. Bongbong Marcos Statement amid Middle East War

BONGBONG MARCOS – Malacañang relayed the message of the President that the country is ready on the possible impact of the Middle East war.

Currently, several nations across the globe are watching the tension in the Middle East. The war between Iran and Israel is expected to have impacts on several countries. People in different races also worry about the preparedness of their nation.

While the war in the Middle East is ongoing, the Philippines is undeniably facing a lot of other problems. Pres. Bongbong Marcos even recently launched a move against inefficient officials of the government. He insisted that an ongoing performance check of the government officials will be conducted.

Recently, amid the ongoing tension in the Middle East, Malacañang spoke on Pres. Bongbong Marcos and his message to the Filipino people. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Palace press officer Atty. Claire Castro said the President feels the worries of the leaders of the different nation because of the war in the Middle East.

Malacañang said the President is calling for peaceful talks and diplomacy to ease the intensifying conflict. According to the Palace official, Marcos expressed the need to stand for global peace for a strong global community.

Furthermore, based on the report, Pres. Bongbong Marcos wants the Filipinos to know that the country is prepared on the possible impacts of the Middle East tension. The Palace assured that the government is working for eveyone.

“Unang-una, ang gusto iparating ng Pangulo, handa po tayo sa anumang mangyayari. At lahat po ng pangangailangan ng taongbayan ay tutugunan po ng pamahalaan. At huwag po sila mag-alala dahil nag-tatrabaho ang gobyerno para sa ating lahat,” Castro said.

According to the Malacañang official, the increase in the cost of fuel is just one of the many possible impact of the ongoing war between Iran and Israel. She believes there might be a domino effect and many other industries will be affected.

Recently, Malacañang also reacted to Vice Pres. Sara Duterte’s remarks against the Marcos administration over the national debt of the Philippines. The PH debt has reached P16 trillion.
