Sen. Bong Revilla Ranks 14th in 2025 Senatorial Elections
BONG REVILLA – The outgoing Senator admitted that his defeat in the 2025 Senatorial Elections is unexpected but his heart “overflows” with gratitude.
The May 2025 Elections is over and the looming victories in the senatorial race is already visible. More than 97% of the election results have been transmitted and reelectionist Senator Bong Go tops the Senate race. Despite the endorsement from Iglesia ni Cristo, Sen. Revilla did not make it to the Top 12.

Sen. Bong Revilla was seeking reelection in the 2025 Midterm Elections. He was one of the candidates of the Alyansa Para Sa Pagbabago endorsed by President Bongbong Marcos and the administration. The Chief Executive campaigned fervently for the candidates of the grand alliance which is a merging of several huge political parties in the Philippines.

Based on the partial and unofficial results of the 2025 Senatorial Elections after 97.36% of the election returns have been transmitted, Sen. Bong Revilla ranked 13th with 11,789,695. Here are the senatorial candidates who made it to the Top 12:

Amid the ongoing counting of votes, Sen. Bong Revilla conceded in the senatorial race. Based on a report on Inquirer, he issued a statement admitting that he did not expect to lose in the 2025 Elections but his heart “overflows” with gratitude for his supporters.

Revilla also stressed his call for unity now that the 2025 Elections is over. Based on the report, the Senator stressed that he will not forget the smiles and trust he got during the campaign period as he stands that “public service is a privilege granted by the public and by the Lord”.
“Mula nang ako’y pumalaot sa paglilingkod-bayan 30 years ago, lagi kong sinasabi na ang pulitika ay dapat 90 days lang sa nasyunal at 45 days lang sa lokal. Nawa, ngayong tapos na ang panahong ito, makita natin sa ating mga sarili na muling magkaisa sa ilalim ng iisa nating bandila,” Sen. Bong Revilla said.
After the 2025 Elections, Pres. Bongbong Marcos issued a statement thanking the supporters of the Alyansa and the Filipinos for voting. According to him, while the grand alliance was not able to win all the seats, their mission and work will continue.
