Battling Autoimmune Diseases, Kris Aquino Seeks Healing and Fresh Air in New Home
KRIS AQUINO – Amid ongoing health challenges, Kris Aquino is considering relocating to a place with fresh air and a cooler climate to aid in her recovery.
TV personality and former host Kris Aquino revealed she is currently confined in a hospital as she undergoes several medical tests related to her autoimmune conditions. Known as the “Queen of All Media,” Kris shared her health update on Instagram last Saturday, May 10, along with clips of her son Bimby from a recent vlog.
“You are going to get a lot of Bimb,” she wrote, noting that she was undergoing a 2D Echo at the time and would be having a PET scan the next day. Kris has long been battling multiple autoimmune diseases and hinted that her current flare-ups are prompting her to consider relocating.

“We are choosing where we will be living—I need fresh air and a cooler climate. The sea breeze will be wonderful,” she said, asking followers for suggestions on where she could find such a healing environment.
Though she has not confirmed any specific plans, Kris emphasized the importance of fresh air and a more suitable climate for her health. In a later post, she shared that more updates would follow, including some “sad news” she has yet to disclose. However, she reassured fans of her resolve: “I will continue to do my very best to fight and to not give up… God only wants us to keep the FAITH.”

Kris was supposed to appear in a vlog episode with K Brosas, Loi Villarama, and Tarlac Governor Susan Yap, but was unable to participate due to a severe lupus flare, dangerously high blood pressure (165/112), and a fever reaching 40.2°C. She described intense discomfort, stating, “My lungs are the ones struggling the most because of my multiple and very rare autoimmune diseases.”
She also hinted at a possible 10th autoimmune condition being added to her already nine confirmed diagnoses. Despite her challenges, Kris remains hopeful, seeking both medical answers and a better quality of life for herself and her son.
