Rider Throws Dirty Finger at Female Motorist

Pasig Rider’s Dirty Finger Act Goes Viral

DIRTY FINGER – A video posted by VISOR on Facebook has sparked strong public reaction after capturing a disturbing incident along Lanuza Road in Pasig City.

In the video, a motorcycle rider is seen aggressively throwing a dirty finger at a female motorist driving a car. The footage, taken by a concerned citizen’s wife, shows the woman behind the wheel seemingly driving slowly, which may have frustrated the rider. However, as the person who shared the video pointed out, regardless of the circumstances, the woman did not deserve such rude treatment. The incident has since ignited calls for stricter road discipline laws, including the immediate passage of an anti-road rage law.

Following the video’s circulation, many viewers condemned the rider’s behavior, calling it disrespectful and uncalled for. Some believe the woman might be a new driver but stressed that being a beginner is never a reason to be harassed on the road.

Senator JV Ejercito was among those who reacted to the viral clip. He expressed concern and promised to forward the video to both the Land Transportation Office (LTO) and the Department of Transportation (DOTr). He also requested an unblurred version of the video to help identify the rider, stating, “This rider is so disrespectful.”

Netizens echoed the senator’s sentiments. Some encouraged the public not to blur license plates in similar videos, as the LTO now actively urges citizens to report abusive drivers. Others offered words of support to the female motorist, encouraging her to keep driving and ignore rude road users. One comment read, “Karma will handle it for you.” Meanwhile, others questioned how such individuals even obtained a driver’s license, suspecting the involvement of fixers.
