Pres. Bongbong Marcos Reacts To Results of Tugon ng Masa OCTA Survey
BONGBONG MARCOS -The President is inspired by the results of the recent OCTA Survey despite the slight decease on his trust and performance ratings.
From time to time, surveys are conducted by the different public opinion polling bodies to check on the trust and satisfaction of the people with regards to the performance of the government officials. Usually, the president and the vice president are the subjects of surveys.

Previously, Malacañang said that Pres. Bongbong Marcos is not bothered by his ratings in survey results. The statement of the Palace came after Marcos Jr.’s ratings in the Pulse Asia survey results declined by 17% from February to March trust ratings. The Palace stressed that the 2400 respondents in the survey allegedly do not reflect the sentiments of the 100 million Filipinos.

Malacañang press officer Atty. Claire Castro also blamed the “fake news” in the decline of the survey ratings of the President. According to her, it is also questionable if the respondents are not reached by the programs of the government.

Recently, the OCTA Research also released the results of its Tugon ng Masa survey. Based on a report on Inquirer, the ratings of Pres. Bongbong Marcos also had a slight decrease with his trust ratings declining from 65% in November 2024 to 60% this April 2025 and his performance satisfaction rating decreasing from 64% last year to 59% now.
Meanwhile, Pres. Bongbong Marcos draws inspiration from the results of the OCTA survey despite the decrease in his ratings. Based on the report, he stressed that the results just validates what the government is doing. According to him, it shows that the Filipinos are starting to realize what they have been doing in the past two years and a half.
“It continues to inspire me because it shows that we’re making progress,” the President said.
Based on the report, Pres. Bongbong Marcos stressed that sometimes the government does not know if what it is doing has an impact on the people. Through the ratings, he finds it good to see that the people are allegedly coming to terms with the government’s actions to help improve their lives.
As the 2025 Elections draw near, Marcos Jr. remain to lead the Alyansa despite the departure of his sister, Senator Imee Marcos, from its Senate slate.
