Pres. Bongbong Marcos Issues Statement on Death of Pope Francis
BONGBONG MARCOS – The Philippine President released a statement on the death of Roman Catholic church leader Pope Francis.
Roman Catholic Church members are currently grieving the sudden death of Pope Francis but relieved that the 88-year-old Supreme Pontiff is now home with the Father. The Pope has lived a life that brought hope and compassion to many people.

Prior to his death, Pope Francis was admitted at the Gemelli hospital for more than three (3) weeks. He was confined to the hospital in February due to breathing difficulties. The Pope was diagnosed with bronchitis that led to double pneumonia. He battled pneumonia for weeks and there were several instances when he had respiratory attacks.

There were also instances when Pope Francis’ condition was stable but the doctor clarified that he’s not out of danger. There were times when he had to be put on a non-invasive medical ventilation and he was left in a critical condition for several days.

Despite the ups and downs of the clinical condition of the Pope, he managed to recover and be released from the hospital. He rested and returned to some light works. He even appeared before the public on Easter Sunday and gave a short message to the people.
On the death of Pope Francis, Philippine Pres. Bongbong Marcos issued a statement on social media. He expressed the country’s oneness with the Catholic community around the world in grieving the death of the Supreme Pontiff. The President described the Pope as “a man of profound faith and humility”.
Pres. Bongbong Marcos also stated that Pope Francis led not only with wisdom but with a heart that is open to everyone most especially the poor. The Chief Executive also taught the people by example that being a good Christian is extending kindness and care to one another.
“As we mourn his passing, we honor a life that brought hope and compassion to so many, and inspired us to love one another as Christ loved us. It is a profoundly sad day,” the post read.

The Death Certificate of the Roman Pontiff was released and it revealed the cause of death of Pope Francis. It was also stated that he went into a comatose state before he passed away.
