Barbie Imperial Playfully Mocks Herself After her ‘Migraine’ Performance Goes Viral
BARBIE IMPERIAL – Actress Barbie Imperial hilariously roasted herself online after a video of her bungled “Migraine” performance went viral.
Barbie Imperial took a hilarious jab at herself after a video of her botching the lyrics of Moonstar88’s hit song “Migraine” went viral online. The light-hearted blunder occurred during a recent live performance in Laoag, Ilocos Norte, where she performed alongside her best friend, fellow actress Alexa Miro.
The duo hit the stage for the Team Marcos Laoag Proclamation Rally 2025 concert, but things got off-key—literally—when Imperial sang the wrong lyrics to the iconic OPM track. Instead of the correct lines “’Di na makatulog, ’di na makakain,” she ended up singing “’Di na makatawa” and later repeated “’Di na makatulog,” both times laughing at her own mistake.

The moment quickly made its rounds online, with netizens playfully teasing the actresses for being out of sync and not getting the lyrics straight before the performance. Miro, who managed to keep her composure on stage, was seen holding back laughter as Imperial cracked up.
Not one to take herself too seriously, Imperial embraced the gaffe and shared a TikTok poking fun at the incident. The video featured her giggling and trying to guess the correct lyrics with a mock quiz-style caption: “Dahil hindi na ____? A. Makatawa, B. Makakain, C. Makatulog.” The original song played in the background, adding to the humor. “Sorry po [@Moonstar88],” she captioned, complete with a crying emoji.
Fans and followers loved the self-deprecating humor, applauding Imperial for owning the moment and turning it into a relatable, viral laugh.
@barbie_imperial sorry po moonstar88 😭
The performance wasn’t the only buzzworthy moment for the duo. Just last month, Imperial and Miro had an “unforgettable” evening with First Lady Liza Marcos during the 2025 Manila International Film Festival (MIFF) in Los Angeles. Miro, who has previously been linked to Ilocos Norte Rep. Sandro Marcos, clarified that they are just close friends.
Despite the lyrical slip, Imperial’s candidness proves that sometimes, the best way to handle a mistake is to laugh it off.
