TONI GONZAGA – Toni Gonzaga had a star-studded encounter with Hollywood actor Timothée Chalamet, capturing a moment that thrilled fans!
Filipina celebrity Toni Gonzaga had a star-studded encounter as she met two-time Academy Award nominee Timothée Chalamet at a recent NBA game in Los Angeles.
Gonzaga, who was in attendance at the highly anticipated New York Knicks vs. Los Angeles Lakers match at the Crypto.com Arena, took to Instagram to share a special moment with the Hollywood star. Posting a photo on her Instagram Story, she posed beside Chalamet, capturing a casual yet exciting meeting between the two celebrities.

Chalamet, known for his critically acclaimed performances in films such as Call Me by Your Name, Dune, and Wonka, sported an off-white jacket paired with royal blue pants. Meanwhile, Gonzaga was seen wearing a navy blue baseball cap, a camel-brown corduroy-style jacket, and jeans, exuding effortless style. Although she did not write a caption for the photo, she included a smiling emoji with hearts, tagging Chalamet’s official Instagram account.
Chalamet’s appearance at the basketball game comes fresh off his attendance at the Oscars 2025, where he was nominated for Best Actor for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown. Though he ultimately lost to Adrien Brody, who won for The Brutalist, Chalamet had already secured recognition earlier in the awards season. Notably, he won the 2025 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Award for his portrayal of the folk music legend.

His SAG Award acceptance speech created a buzz, as he boldly declared his pursuit of cinematic greatness. “I’m really in pursuit of greatness. I know people don’t usually talk like that, but I want to be one of the greats. I’m inspired by the greats,” he passionately stated.
Up next for Chalamet is his role in the upcoming sports comedy Marty Supreme, which is set for a Christmas 2025 theatrical release. The film boasts an ensemble cast, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Tyler The Creator, and Penn Jillette.
Meanwhile, Gonzaga was accompanied at the game by her husband, director Paul Soriano. The couple also had the opportunity to take a photo with legendary filmmaker Spike Lee, who was present to enjoy the game. The Lakers ultimately secured the victory in what was a thrilling night for basketball and celebrity sightings alike.
