JAM VILLANUEVA – Anthony Jennings’s ex-GF Jam Villanueva breaks her silence after losing followers on social media.
Jamela “Jam” Villanueva remains unfazed despite the gradual decrease in her social media followers. The social media personality and content creator recently addressed this issue after a netizen pointed out the decline in her follower count, which had surged during the controversy involving her long-time boyfriend, Anthony Jennings, and his alleged infidelity.
Currently, Jam boasts 268,000 followers on Instagram, 19,712 on Facebook, and 116,000 on TikTok. However, some netizens have observed that her numbers have been slowly dwindling. On February 22, 2025, she responded to a comment on her Instagram Stories from a follower who questioned her ability to gain more followers now that the controversy has died down.
The comment read: “I saw n pabawas na pabawas followers m. Nagincrease lang dahil s issue.How will you increase it now??”
Jam’s response was one of calm and confidence. She made it clear that she does not mind losing followers, especially those who only followed her during the height of the controversy. Instead, she expressed gratitude for the people who have stayed with her through thick and thin.
“My world is not revolving around it naman, but I am thankful for those who still stay and show support,” she shared.
She also took the opportunity to remind her followers about the importance of self-worth and not seeking validation from others.
“Reminder na din that our personal worth and self-value should not be dependent sa external validation or the opinion of others.”
Jam further emphasized the significance of self-acceptance and self-love, stating that personal fulfillment comes from within. She encouraged her followers to focus on understanding their values and purpose instead of chasing approval from others.
“Kasi true fulfillment and confidence naman come from within, not from seeking approval from others.”
“Pag may strong sense of self ka, you can just be authentic and go through life without feeling like you have to follow or live up to others’ expectations.”
