Why Kazel Kinouchi Was Once Linked to Richard Gutierrez
KAZEL KINOUCHI – The Filipino-Japanese actress revealed how the link between her and actor Richard Gutierrez started.
Kazel once addressed the rumors that she was the reason behind the breakup of Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati. In a recent appearance on the GTV show Lutong Bahay on November 29, 2024, Kazel denied any romantic relationship with Richard and explained how she became involved in the rumors.
Kazel shared with host Mikee Quintos that the speculation started when they were spotted together during Halloween in the village where they both lived. She clarified that they were not close friends, despite having mutual friends. The photo showing them sitting in different houses fueled the rumors, especially after it was taken during the time when people speculated that Richard and Sarah had broken up, which began in late November 2023.
Kazel explained that the issue was blown out of proportion, with people trying to find a reason behind Richard and Sarah’s breakup. She also expressed how amusing it was at first when she heard the rumors, since there was no truth to them. However, as time passed, Kazel became frustrated with the situation, especially since she was being dragged into it without any involvement or wrongdoing.
This is not the first time Kazel has spoken about the issue. Earlier, in January, she mentioned that the rumors were laughable at first but later became exhausting as people continued to speculate without any basis. She emphasized that she had no role in the breakup and had been unfairly affected by the rumors.
Meanwhile, Kazel Kinouchi is a Filipino-Japanese actress, best known for her roles as Miley Santiago in Oh My G! and Zoey Tanyag in Abot-Kamay na Pangarap. Kazel first gained attention in 2010 when she joined the reality show Pinoy Big Brother. After her time in the house, she pursued acting and appeared in various television shows, including Good Vibes (2011), Paraiso (2012), and Be Careful with My Heart (2014). She also played significant roles in Pasión de Amor (2015) and Playhouse (2018).
