Queen of All Media Kris Aquino Gets Flowers from Anonymous Person
KRIS AQUINO – The actress-TV host received a bouquet of flowers from an anonymous person with a sweet note that said, “You had me at hello”.
It has been more than two (2) months already since Kris went home to the Philippines after staying in the United States for around two years. She flew to U.S. in 2022 for her treatment. The actress-TV host is battling multiple autoimmune diseases.
Kris, at the age of 53 now, is fighting for her life against six (6) diseases — Autoimmune Thyroiditis, Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria, Churg Strauss/EGPA, Systemic Sclerosis, SLE/Lupus, and Rheumatoid Arthritis. Previously, the actress-TV host shared that she had three (3) diagnosed autoimmune diseases when she went to U.S. and the fourth was confirmed in June of the same year that she flew abroad.
After two (2) years of stay in the United States and being away from the limelight, Kris Aquino decided to go home to the country last September 13 as she needed the “encouragement and unwavering faith” of her sisters and cousins. She revealed that she has to undergo her second immunosuppressant infusions.
However, early this month, the white blood cells or WBC count of Kris dropped and she had to be isolated as her body does not anymore have defense against virus and bacteria. According to her, there are so many rules that her family and friends who want to visit must abide with to be allowed to visit her. The actress-TV host admitted that she feels lonely.
Kris also admitted that there are times when she gets to ask herself if she can still push through most especially when the symptoms of her different diseases are felt all at once. Meanwhile, she ended her post saying the reason why she refuses to give up.
According to Kris Aquino, she does not want to disappoint all the people who are praying for her recovery. The actress-TV host stressed that she does not want the people who pray for her recovery to think that she took their time and effort for granted.
Kris stressed that the compassion of the people who pray for her recovery really touched her heart. Recently, the actress even shared on social media that someone has sent a bouquet of flowers for her in the hospital but she has already been discharged.
Meanwhile, Kris Aquino expressed her gratitude to whoever sent the flowers for her at the hospital. It came with a sweet note which goes — “You had me at hello. I love you. I know”.
With regards to her love life, it is no secret to the public that the actress-TV host is now in a relationship with someone in the medical field — Dr. Mike Padlan. Recently, Kris Aquino spoke on the rumors that she and her boyfriend had a private wedding.
