CAMELLA NAGA SUBDIVISION – Cars of the residents of the popular subdivision were among those damaged by Tropical Storm Kristine.
Tropical Storm Kristine has severely hit Camarines Sur most especially Naga City. It brought heavy rains that resulted to flooding in several areas in the province. In Naga, the floodwater has reached almost the roof level of several residential properties.
The deep flooding in Naga led to countless residents being trapped in the roof of their houses for safety from drowning but such situation is not safe at all. Thus, the local government unit (LGU) of Naga City called for help for vehicles that could help in rescuing the victims of the flood.
Former Vice President Leni Robredo also appealed for more pump boats that can help the residents of Naga trapped in the roofs of their houses. According to the former Vice President, several rescue trucks were stalled due to the deep flooding.
The Naga LGU is needing vehicles that can pass through floodwater that is between three (3) to six (6) feet deep. Based on the latest advisory from PAGASA, Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 2 is up in several areas in Luzon including the following:
